How can I help?
Bugs and feature ideas go to the public tracker on GitHub. Issues there are visible to everyone, which means you can check whether something is already known and follow it until it is fixed.
Anything private - your account, a purchase, or something you would rather not post publicly - by email. I read everything myself.

Some chords look wrong. What can I do?
The chords come from what the app hears, so some will need a second look. Tap a chord to change it and hear it over the song. To get a cleaner start, put your device close to the speaker and keep the room quiet.
-
Why are there no lyrics?
Lyrics need an internet connection and your permission. A song without singing has no lyrics. The chords work without any of this.
-
How long can a song be?
Up to 5 minutes. At 5 minutes GetChords stops by itself, as if you had tapped Stop.
-
How do I transpose a song or set a capo?
Open the song and tap ♯♭ in the bottom bar to transpose. The capo, the chord diagrams and simple chords are under More.
-
How do I export a sheet?
Open the song and tap the Share button at the top right. Choose PDF, ChordPro or image, with or without lyrics and chord diagrams.
-
Do my songs sync between iPhone and iPad?
No. A song stays on the device where you made it. To read a sheet on another device, export it as a PDF or an image.
-
What happens when the trial ends?
Songs you already have stay readable. Export and new songs need the one-time purchase.
-
I bought the app on a new device. How do I get it back?
Tap "Restore purchase" in the app, signed in with the same Apple ID.
